Troyana Tower
Corner of Piazza Medici/Via Hope
Know as the "clock-tower", it was donated to the Commune by Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy (16th century) as the seat of the civic clock which marked the official hour for public acts. The tower is one of the two intact towers of Asti and is characterized by elegant Gothic mullioned windows (12th-14th centuries) It originally belonged to the Ghibelline Troya family, who owned "casane" (pawnshops) in Switzerland.
Fountain of the Waterworks
Piazza Medici
Work of Materno Giribaldi, this is a fine example of art nouveau statuary. It was built in 1908 to commemorate the construction of the munucipal waterworks on the site of the 17th century church of Our Lady of the Annunciation, demolished in 1907.
Remains of Roman amphitheatre

Recent excavations have brougt to light the foundations of a Roman amphitheatre dating from the 2nd century A.D. It has been calculated that its dimensions were approximately 60 m x 90 m.
Guests-quarters of the Ancient Carthusian Monastery

Fifteenth century buildings utilized for guests of the Carthusian Monastery located in Valmanera, now partially used as a restaurant. Fine coffer ceiling inside the shop next-door.
